MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Jeff Senn, the principal at Maumelle High School, will be dressed in all pink this Friday, September 4.

Mr. Senn is participating in “Pink Out” as part of a fundraiser recently held by the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO). During the school’s recent annual event, Hornet Swarm, Senn agreed to wear all pink on a designated school day if the organization raised a certain amount of funds.

Senn, in his first year at MHS, has embraced the Hornet traditions and is also excited about starting new ones. “I’m all about the students.  I love these kids and I love what I do.  If I can help the students by helping the PTSO, I’m all for it.  Pink Out it is!”

Senn’s career began in 1991 where he started as a teacher in Crossett, Arkansas.  After serving as an elementary and a middle school principal for several years, he recently transitioned from Principal at North Pulaski High School to Maumelle.

Michelle Williamson, President of the Maumelle High School PTSO is thrilled to have the support of Mr. Senn and his staff.  “Mr. Senn and his entire staff has been fully supportive.  They have embraced us and assisted us in everything that we have needed. As a parent of a student at Maumelle, and as a leader of the PTSO, I am grateful to have him.  I know the faculty, staff, parents and students welcome the change and we look forward to a great year at MHS!”
