The Pulaski County Special School District spokesperson Deb Roush has released the following statement regarding the reason behind the suspension:

"The Pulaski County Special School District has suspended a teacher at Maumelle High School after an incident at the school this morning. An investigation is pending. The district is limited legally in its response because this is a personnel matter."
