Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf putting on Rummage Sale

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (ARID) - ARID (Arkansas Registry of  Interpreters for the Deaf) is putting on a Spring Cleaning Rummage Sale which benefits ARID's 2015 Biennial Conference. These conferences allow Interpreters to continue their education, so they may provide the most excellent service to our Deaf Community.

The Rummage Sale event is Sat., June 7 starting at 7 a.m. and going until the last patron. It will be located at Arkansas School for the Deaf Tornado Shelter at 2400 W. Markham in Little Rock, AR.

The group is asking others to help by purchasing and raising money for the event as well as donating items to sell. ARID requests that no large furniture items or old electronic devices be donated (Example: TVs, video gaming systems, DVDs, and etc.), but they will gladly accept anything else you'd like to offer (small kitchen appliances, household goods, clothes, shoes, childrens' items, decor and etc. are completely acceptable)! If you are making contributions, items need to be priced and totalled so you can be provided with a recipt for your tax deductible donation.

Volunteers are needed for Friday night (starting at 4 p.m.) to help set up, bring in contributions, help man the door, and assist with placing items in each designated area. Drop in volunteers are welcome on the day of the sale.
