(KTHV) - Governor Beebe will be discussing his recent meeting with President Obama regarding the fiscal cliff Wednesday, December 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Governor's Conference Room in the State Capitol. Beebe was invited to meet with the President as a member of the National Governors Association Executive Committee.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Are you looking for a unique Christmas experience? Look no further, the Little Rock Zoo will be opening their doors to Christmas in the Wild.

Christmas in the Wild will be held December 8 and 15, both days opening at 9:30 a.m. There will be arts and crafts for the family to participate in while sipping on hot cocoa. Santa will also be there to meet every child. Tickets will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Maumelle, Ar. - Monde Group has announced a new $22 million development, The Villa at River Pointe Drive. In celebration of this project there will be a groundbreaking ceremony on November 27th at 11:00 a.m. The event will be help at the end of River Pointe Drive.

Inspired y the small towns along the Italian Riviera, The Villa at River Pointe Drive will have European expressions on the North shore of the Arkansas River in Maumelle. The villa will feature natural materials, lush gardens and tranquil pools.

The Villa is about living well and making a great addition to an already warm community. The first phase will include 108 residences and all the amenities.

Take part in Toys for Tots in your community

Maumelle, Ark. (KTHV) - The Maumelle Fire Department is asking the community to help them collect toys for the Maumelle community. They will be taking donations of unwrapped toys starting Friday, November 16th at 8:00 a.m. until Saturday, November 17th. The toys will be given to the Toys for Tots program and given to children who are less fortunate.
