Maumelle High Student Signs to Play Collegiate Sports

Yesterday, in front of her family and friends, Maumelle High School senior Renae Barr proudly signed a letter of intent to play softball and volleyball next year at Central Baptist College in Conway, Ark.

Barr is a three-year volleyball letterman and a four-year softball letterman, having played her first year for Oak Grove High School. Barr started the last three years as a catcher in softball, and promises to be a huge asset to this year's team as well. She helped the volleyball team through her leadership and dedication over the last three years as well. She is a manager for the wrestling team.

According to her Maumelle High coach, Jayme McCoy, “Renae is a leader not only on the court and field, but in the classroom as well.” Best of Luck to Renee next year.
