MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Maumelle police have now received a toxicology report of a Maumelle High School teacher who was suspected of a DWI after police say she hit a student's car in the parking lot.

On April 24, 46-year-old Sonya Kindall, a math teacher, was involved in a car accident inside the school's parking lot.

Police say she hit a student's car while the student was still in it and walked inside minutes later.

The toxicology report prepared by the Arkansas Crime Lab confirmed that Kindall's blood sample tested positive for benzodiazepines.

Based on the analysis, the Maumelle Police Department is preparing an affidavit for the arrest of Sonya Kindall for driving while intoxicated.
