Police searching for missing Maumelle man

MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) – Police announced Wednesday they’re searching for a Maumelle man they say disappeared Monday, March 7.

Maumelle police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old Berry “Beau” Bishop.  They have reason to believe he left of his own accord, and no reason to believe there are criminal issues with this case.

Originally, three firearms were believed to have been missing as well. According to police, the weapons have been accounted for. They say they have no reason to believe Bishop is armed.

Capt. Jim Hansard said police are very concerned. Bishop is said to be an active member at New Life Church in Maumelle and is married with two children.

Police said he may be in a black 2014 Hyundai Elantra sport, with Arkansas tags 924-TYT.

If you have any information on Bishop’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call police at (501) 851-1337.
